Following the August ‘23 announcement of Mips’ investment in sensor technology company Quin, we are pleased to announce that the brands will exhibit alongside one another at the upcoming Eurobike show.
Mips and Quin form a powerful partnership with a joint vision to save more lives through enhancing the safety of helmets.
With the Mips safety system readily available across the helmet market, Quin looks to achieve the same breadth of distribution with an easy-to-integrate sensor that offers an instant tech upgrade to all types of helmets - adding a new dimension to how consumers can embrace technology to elevate their safety.
Quin’s finely tuned sensor technology enables specialized crash detection and categorization by severity, alerts to next of kin and emergency services with provision of mission critical data - as well as user access to activity and performance analytics across a variety of metrics.
Mips and Quin will also look to harness this partnership to drive research and development processes to new heights in the quest to further optimize safety for helmet users, bringing together leading scientific research in this area with a rich ecosystem of real world data.
Quin CEO and founder, Ani Surabhi is excited to see the product reach helmet users - ‘At Quin we have invested our time, expertise and passion in the design and development of a product and software system that is sophisticated, effective and easy to integrate.’ With launches in partnership with O’Neal and updates to the existing FLY Racing range scheduled for this summer and with further launch announcements to follow later in the year, consumers won’t have to wait long to try it for themselves.
Mips and Quin will be at Eurobike in Hall 11.1 on Stand B14/B16
